Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support weekend basketball games at our facility. This role helps ensure a safe, organized, and clean environment for players, coaches, and guests. The attendant is responsible for opening the gym before teams arrive and closing the gym after all games are completed.
Responsibilities
Morning / Pre-Game Duties:
- Open the gym prior to team arrival
- Set out cones in the parking lot to prevent illegal parking
- Set up materials and supplies for coaching staff
- Set up and organize concession stand items for sale
During Games:
- Sell concession stand items
- Accept payments using Square tap-to-pay, Cash App, and Venmo
- Maintain a clean and organized concessions area
- Provide general support as needed during games
Afternoon Duties:
- Check and maintain bathroom supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc.)
- Ensure restrooms remain clean and stocked throughout the day
Evening / Post-Game Duties:
- Close the gym after the final game
- Clean out bleachers
- Sweep and clean the gym floor
- Collect and remove all trash from the facility
- Clean and remove trash from bathrooms
- Ensure the facility is left clean and orderly
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Dependable and punctual
- Must be familiar with using Square for tap-to-pay transactions, and accept payments via Cash App and Venmo
- Able to work early mornings and evenings on weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks
- Able to lift and carry at least 20 pounds
- Customer service experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently and following procedures
Additional Information:
- Training will be provided
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
